Established in 1992, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) is a premier tertiary institution that offers quality education in Engineering, Information Technology, Design, Interactive & Digital Media, Business Management, Health Sciences and Chemical & Life Sciences. Currently, it offers 50 full-time diploma courses and a suite of customized courses at certificate, diploma and specialist diploma levels for continuing education and training. It also conducts productivity related courses at both pre-employment education & training (PET), and continuing education and training (CET) levels.
The first educational institution in Singapore to leverage the Problem-based Learning approach for all its diploma programmes, Republic Polytechnic (RP) has six schools and two academic centres offering forty-one diplomas in Applied Science, Engineering, Enterprise and Communication, Events and Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports, Health & Leisure, and Technology for the Arts.

The Japan Productivity Center (JPC) is a non-profit organization (NPO) and non-governmental organization (NGO) established in April 1994 through the merging of the Japan Productivity Center (JPC) and the Social and Economic Congress of Japan (SECJ).

The JPC also actively supports industries and public sector organizations in such areas as management innovation, modernization of labor-management relations, and human resources development.

JPC’s productivity movement is supported by over 10,000 members, including corporations, labor unions, and various other organizations. Their support and its strong collaboration with seven regional productivity centers enable JPC to form a powerful nationwide network for the productivity movement in Japan.

Fujii Consulting is an established consultancy firm that specialises in the Food Services industry.  It was set up in Japan by Mr Jotaro Fujii in 1997.  Mr Fujii has more than 40 years of working and consulting experience in the hospitality sector, and is one of the most sought-after food service consultants in Japan.

In his 24 years with Suntory Holdings, he started the First Kitchen chain and retired as the Corporate President of Subway Japan Inc. after setting up 150 franchise stores across Japan. Armed with a Master of Professional Studies from Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration, Mr Fujii started his own consulting business in 1997 to assist F&B companies and hotels in Japan.  He has also been assisting F&B companies in Singapore since 2013. r Fujii has lectured at various universities and culinary schools in Japan, presented at major conferences and conducted training to F&B companies and productivity consultants in Singapore.

In 2015, SPC entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Fujii Consulting to bring best practices from Japan to Singapore, and to tap Mr Fujii’s years of experience and deep expertise in the Food Services sector to assist local companies and Food Services entrepreneurs.
