The Food Productivity Specialist course (FPS) is a completely revised programme with refreshed local context and updated curriculum to equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to increase business productivity in the sector Food Services. It is aimed at food industry practitioners and professionals who want to deepen their skills to lead and manage productivity improvements in their business or pursue a career as a productivity consultant specialising in the food industry.


Jointly developed with Japan Productivity Centre (JPC), the programme builds on the foundation of the Certified Productivity Consultant course where Singapore Productivity Centre (SGPC) has certified more than 150 Productivity Consultants till date. SGPC is the only enterprise in Singapore overseeing and conducting this programme.


Business Owners, Managers (such as Operations Manager & Branch Manager) tasked to look after the business performance, and Industry Practitioners who wish to upskill their capability for career growth, or who aspire to become a F&B industry consultant can apply.

The intensive 36 hours classroom session will bring you up to speed on the latest trends of the F&B sector and equip you with the latest consulting methodologies, tools and techniques to achieve productivity and business goals. Upon completion of the classroom session, you will receive a “Certification of Completion”.

Rachel Tanoko

MBA (Cornell University, USA), Chartered Accountant, ACLP Certified Trainer, ICF Coach, ICP-ACC, CSM

Rachel Tanoko is a Senior Corporate Leader and Chartered Accountant having amassed over 20 years of experience with MNCs and SMEs in Southeast Asia and the United States.

Rachel progressed to some of the finest brands in the industry, including Intercontinental Hotels Group, Crowne Plaza Singapore, Singapore Cricket Club, and Furama Hotels International. Rachel holds a Master of Management in Hospitality degree from Cornell University and was on the Dean’s list. She also holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) degree from Nanyang Technological University.

She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), Chartered Accountants Worldwide, Financial Planning Association of Singapore, and International Coaching Federation, to name a few. She is also a professional ICF-certified coach, an ACLP Certified Trainer, an Associate Wealth Planner, an Agile Coach, and a Certified Scrum Master.



Fern Deng

BBA (SMU), ACLP Certified Trainer, Associate Certified Coach (ICF)

Fern Deng is a Certified ACLP Trainer and a Certified ICF Coach who brings with her a wealth of knowledge and over 12 years of Luxury Retail expertise. Her domain expertise includes areas such as Digital Marketing, Marketing Management, Branding, Sales Management, Retail Excellence, Negotiation, and Communications. Fern has worked in Luxury Retail brands such as L’Oreal, Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo (Fragrances), and Clarins.

Fern graduated from the Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Double Major in Marketing & Corporate Communication. She  also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Business from the Emeritus Institute of Management. She is recognized as an ICF Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation. Fern has facilitated workshops for Lithan Academy, FirstCom Academy, SOCO Academy, QuickDesk, and the Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore.
