OVERVIEW


This training programme is an adaptation of the Certified Productivity Consultant Course, which was jointly developed with the Japan Productivity Centre. The curriculum has been updated and contextualised with the latest developments in the Retail industry to include Digitalisation.

Participants will experience up to 36 hours of classroom engagement with in-depth discussions and sharing of tools and techniques, and an 8-week project practicum on a real SME problem statement, supervised by an experienced industry consultant.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND


Business Owners, Managers (such as Operations Manager, Store Manager, Retail/E-Commerce Manager) tasked to look after the performance of the retail business, and Industry Practitioners who wish to upskill their capability for career growth, or who aspire to become a retail industry consultant can apply.

RDPS COURSE OUTLINE


Day 1 & 2

CM1 – Business Consultation Models, Frameworks and Tools (7 hours)

CM2 – Business Finance and Productivity (5 hours)

 

Day 3 to Day 6

ERM1.1 – Changing Retail Landscape: opportunities and challenges, operational productivity improvements & e-commerce landscape

ERM1.2 – Digital Transformation in Retail: digital competency map, digital marketing transit map

ERM1.3 – Sacred Treasures of Human Capabilities: Store maps, key performance indicator

ERM1.4 – Sacred Treasures of Physical and Online Store Administration: inventory control between physical and e-commerce store, Kaizen in operations, Toyota Production Systems etc

ERM2.1 – Digital Marketing: SEO, SEM & other digital channels

ERM2.2 – Design Customer Interactions: customer journey mapping & touchpoints

ERM2.3 – Customer Value Proposition: touchpoint impact analysis, amplification effect & customer engagement

ERM2.4 – Optimise Customer Journey: process optimisation

ERM2.5 – Cybersecurity: cloud computing, business analytics & security tools

SPEAKER/TRAINER BIO


Lucy Ng

Lucy specialises in Human Capital Development, Business Management System, and Customer Experience and Service Innovation. She has more than 20 years’ experience in providing consultancy services to MNCs, statutory boards and SMEs in the Retail, Healthcare, Education, Social Services, Environment and F&B sectors. Lucy is a certified Specialist Adult Educator (Curriculum Development), MBTI Profiling administrator, and EQ facilitator. She holds a MBA in International Management, MA in Instructional Design and Technology, BSc in Economics and Management Studies, DACE and ACTA. Lucy is a member of the Adult Educators’ Network (Singapore).

Gina Ng

Gina is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a Fellow member with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She holds a Master of Science degree in Accountancy and Finance. Gina has 16 years of financial working experience in the Oil & Gas, Aviation and Banking industries. An Adjunct lecturer in ACCA, ICAEW, AAT and Advanced Diploma programmes. An ACTA-certified trainer and assessor and a courseware developer for financial modules in the cleaning and educational industries.

Lydia Gan

Lydia is an ACTA-certified trainer and assessor, DACE-certified curriculum developer, and a life coach and behaviour profiling analyst. Lydia conducts training on digital marketing, omni-channel marketing, event planning and cyber security. Some of the courses she facilitated are government funded. She is bilingual in English and Mandarin and was previously a Creative Director. Before selling off her successful dating agency CliqueWise in 2014, she was a known public figure, interviewed extensively by international and local media. For the last 16 years, she enjoys sharing her wealth of knowledge on events planning, communication, marketing, compliance and management.
